Last Letter Home

And now we'll have a tune from the Irish group. It's about the War Between the States, but it's got cannons in and a last letter home, so bung it in and let's hear it. It's in rather quick waltz time, so we'd best clear chairs out of the way for the dancers (those that aren't under the table already).

By the same group, Olaim Punch/The Pigtown Fling. Rather happier.

Oh Ken,

And we hardly knew him....

Guess that means the tequila showdown if off?

Excellent choice, dear Ken, it gives me an idea for something to put on the jukebox whilst the bands take a well-earned break.

Oof! the dancing has me quite out of breath. Your pardon, but I seem to be glowing in the way that ladies do (the t'other part has gentlemen perspiring and horses sweating).

It certainly lifts the spirits to careen all over the room in a dance step that's an odd melding of country waltz and jig. Pity about that vase, but I never liked it much anyway.
